Description

This refrigerator door gasket compresses against the cabinet to create an air-tight seal. Replacing a worn gasket helps keep cold air in, maintain set temperatures, reduce moisture and frost, and support overall efficiency.

• Unplug the refrigerator and clear items from the door for easier handling
• Warm the new gasket (room temperature, or gently with a hair dryer on low or warm water) to relax folds—do not overheat
• If retained by screws, loosen the inner-liner retainer, seat the gasket lip starting at the corners, then tighten evenly; for push-in styles, press fully into the channel
• After installation, verify uniform contact all around and adjust door hinges if needed; allow up to 24 hours for the gasket to fully conform
