Description
This freezer door gasket forms an airtight seal between the door and cabinet to keep cold air in and humid air out. Replacing a worn gasket helps maintain temperature, reduce frost, and improve efficiency. What it does:

- Disconnect power before servicing; open the door and clear the work area
- Warm the new gasket in hot water or with low heat to relax folds; clean the sealing surfaces
- If your model uses a screw-on retainer, loosen screws to remove the old gasket and install the new one evenly; if it press-fits, seat the gasket lip fully into the channel, aligning corners
- After installation, verify an even seal all around; adjust hinges/leveling if needed and use low heat to smooth waves; test with a dollar-bill test
