Dawn B Cheshire , CT March 19, 2022 Appliance: KitchenAid Refrigerator KBFS25ECMS00 The water valve or ice maker and the drawer lid end cap. Replacement of the water valve is pretty straightforward. Just remove all screws on the lower panel. Disconnect water input line. Remove the screw holding valve to that rear panel. Disconnect water and ice maker tubes going to the valve. Don’t worry about mixing them up once disconnected as they are different sizes. This is idiot-proof. Replacing the end cap was easy too. Two or three screws and it comes off. The right side end cap is a bit more challenging since it has the slide control for the crisper temp. Nevertheless, it is straightforward. Just take your time Read More...
