Raniel S Cary , NC May 13, 2016 Appliance: Model MF12670XEM7 Accumulation of rime ice in freezer on french door refrigerator Did some online research and everything pointed to the fact that moisture was getting into the freezer and therefore the seal was not doing it's job. I ran my finger along the seal and sure enough I detected cold air coming out of one corner of the seal. I ordered the appropriate part from Appliance Parts Pros (APP) but decided to test my diagnosis by installing thin weather stripping in the affected area. I checked the freezer the next day and saw no accumulation of any more Rime ice so that told me I had found the problem. The part came from APP and replaced the original seal with the new one. William A Spanish Fort , AL April 22, 2014 The gasket on our freezer drawer was leaking causing ice build up I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com , set it out in the sun for a couple hours to get the kinks out, installed it in five minutes, cleaned out the ice from the freezer shut the drawer and it's working perfectly now. Save us couple hundred dollars for service. I found this by slowly moving my hand around the freezer door until I felt cold air escaping and knew the gasket was deffective.
