Description

This gearcase is the washer transmission that transfers motor torque to the agitator and basket so the washer can agitate and spin properly. Replaces a worn or damaged gearbox to restore normal wash movement. What it does:

• Transfers drive from the motor to the agitator and outer basket for agitation and spinning
• Replaces stripped or noisy gears that cause grinding, clunking or loss of agitation
• Stops slipping or intermittent agitation caused by internal gear failure
• Helps eliminate unusual vibration or rough operation linked to a failing gearbox

• Disconnect power and turn off water supply before beginning service
• Requires partial disassembly of the washer cabinet and transmission area; follow OEM instructions
• May contain lubricant—inspect seals and surrounding components for leaks while installed
