Description
This is the gearcase that houses the internal gears responsible for transferring motor power to the mixing attachments in a stand mixer. It contains the gear train that controls speed and torque output. Replace this gearcase if you hear grinding noises, the mixer struggles under load, gears are visibly worn or stripped, or if lubricant is leaking from the housing.
