Daniel M Sweeny , TX November 01, 2014 Appliance: Model KENMORE STAND UP FREEZER Intermittent thawing and refreezing defrost cycle not working properly I checked element on freezer was good using ohm meter for continuity,only logical solution was defrost timer and thermostat.I always replace timer and thermostat together as both were original parts and either one or both may have been worn and for the extra money worth just replacing both at once.
