Don G Crystal Lake , IL June 04, 2014 Dishwasher was leaking from underneath the front door The grommet was old and very caked with old dishwasher scum. So water was leaking through where the soap door latch goes into the door. I replaced the rubber grommet (and the plastic latch that came with the kit, even though the old one was probably fine). Fit perfectly and looked just like the old one. Works like a champ, no leaking! Doug M Syracuse , IN November 13, 2015 Appliance: Model DWU 7910 AAE Electrical "pop" some smoke and stink and took circuit breaker out Removed inner door panel and replaced burned out solenoid and replaced latch seal as some moisture was getting in. Cleaned things up -Reassembled door and maybe good to go for another twenty years. This machine does not have a 300 dollar electronic board like all the new ones and still does a great job for me.
