Description

The Grommet is an OEM part for Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator models. It is a sealing component located where accessory lines like the water line and defrost heater enter the refrigerator cabinet.  

Causes of a bad grommet include cracking, tears or splits that interfere with an airtight connection. Regular wear and repeated expansion/contraction can deteriorate grommet integrity over time.
