Ronny W Spring Creek , NV March 11, 2015 Broken handle and bad heating element Took off the back cover exposing the ends to the heating element and disconnected the spade connectors off of the element. Removed the oven door and took out 2 screws towards the back of the oven on the bottom. (Inside the oven) next I removed I think 2 or 4 screws holding the element assembly down and removed element. Landis S Mercersburg , PA January 12, 2017 Appliance: Maytag 30" Gas Freestanding Self Clean Range Sealed Burner Co MGR5765QDB1 The left side of the oven door handle broke loose from the screw I went to a Youtube video that gave a step by step lesson on how to take the oven door apart in order to remove the old handle and then replace it with the new one. It was a bit complicated and even with the video instructions, it was quite challenging to get the brackets lined up for the screws and hold them in place till all the parts were in place. If I had it to do over, I would be more observant as to how I took it apart, thus, putting it back together would have been more clear.
