Michael V Massapequa Park , NY November 23, 2014 Appliance: Model DUET WASHER The buttons were broke and the machine would not start I purchased the parts from appliance parts pros and followed their repair video, to complete the repair myself. It took about 10 minutes, with complaining kids in the background. It was simple, and saved me a ton of money. Karen J Bloomington , IL June 30, 2014 The handle on the door to my washer was broken I checked your site and had some trouble finding the right model, so I called a service rep and she helped me find the correct one. I ordered it one day and to my surprise it was delivered the very next day. I did not pay any shipping for it and was quite surprised. My only problem was I did not have the right screwdriver to replace it, so I called my son and he had one. My husband fixed it in about 5 minutes (or less). It was great service. I will use your service again if I do not need repairs from a service person. Thank you. Anthony T Highland , CA August 15, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer GHW9200LW0 Washer door would not latch shut or stay shut I ordered the door switch assembly and that did the trick. I installed it just as the video instructed. I was back washing clothes in no time because the install of the door switch assembly only took 15 min. I had also ordered the door strike just in case but did it turned out I did not need it. I had also ordered the door handle and the control knob for my model since they were both cracked and needed to be replaced. Changing these parts out took no time at all and the videos on how to change these parts helped. Serafina M Newton , MA March 12, 2014 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer - Direct Drive GHW9100LW1 Door handle on washer broke. It is low as my machine is on floor instead of lifts. this causes pressure on the handle and I am sure it caused the crack and break. It was very very easy to unscrew the very obvious screws and replace the handle. Now it is so much better with a comfortable handle. I did need a special screwdriver but I did have it. I would have borrowed it from a nearby hardware store if I did not already have it. It is a star shaped head that fits perfectly into the screw head which is embedded into the screw top......nice and flat.
