Description

This Heater Housing is the metal enclosure that supports the heating element and thermostats and channels airflow through the heater. Replacing a warped, burned-through, or corroded housing helps restore safe, consistent dryer heat and airflow.

• Holds the heating element securely and isolates it from the cabinet
• Directs air across the element for efficient, even heating
• Provides mounting points for high-limit/cycling thermostats and thermal cut-off
• Helps with symptoms such as weak/no heat, scorching in the heater area, repeated element shorts, or visible damage/rust to the housing

What's included: 1 metal heater housing/box. Install notes:

• Disconnect power and pull the dryer forward for access
• Remove the rear panel and exhaust duct to reach the heater assembly
• Note wiring; transfer the heating element and thermostats from the old housing to the new one using existing hardware
• Ensure the element is centered and not touching the housing before reassembly; reconnect and test for proper heat and airflow
