Description

This 48" defrost heater melts frost and ice from the evaporator coil so the refrigerator can maintain proper airflow and cooling. Replacing a failed heater restores normal defrost cycles and helps prevent excessive frost buildup. What it does:

• Warms the evaporator coil during the defrost cycle to remove accumulated ice.
• Helps restore normal airflow through the freezer evaporator when ice buildup restricts cooling.
