Lewis B Easton , PA April 25, 2014 Appliance: Model KENMORE 92592400 WASHER/96592410 DRYER Washer would not agitate Went to appliance parts pros and typed in the problem, and they had a video on that problem and how to fix it, easy fix, ordered the part, had it 2 days later, took my washer apart while I was waiting for the part to come, and then reviewed the video several times, and then completed my repair, probably saved 150-200 dollars by doing it myself, also had my dryer conk out last year, did the same thing, looked up the problem, ordered the part, and made the repair, the pair is 20 years old, parts are still readily available, and they don't build them like they used to, and at 800 dollars each for a middle grade set, I will keep repairing as long as possible, Read More... 17 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Pliers, Socket Set

Laurence O O'fallon , IL November 03, 2018 Appliance: Maytag Commercial Washer MAT14PDAWW0 Sometimes it would spin other times it would not, agitated fine Replaced transmission (that was the problem) and clutch (if you're going to tear it down put in a new clutch - they're cheap). APPRO's video was a big help. Everything went as they showed except transmission does not just slide out. You have to work it in and out several times. Once it breaks free it will slip out. This was my first transmission. It was not nearly as hard as I had thought it would be.
