Michael S Fredericksburg , VA January 20, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator ED25TWXDW01 The seal on the door of the refigerator was damaged also the hinge cap needed replacing as it was cracked I took the new seal out of it's packaging and used a blowdryer on low heat to soften up the seal so that the crease from shipping (it was folded to ship) disappeared. Next I took the refrigerator door off, removed the old seal, & cleaned the area where the new seal would be applied. Following the video on the Appliance Pro Parts website, I re-installed the new seal and put the door back on. Last step was to snap on the new hinge cap I ordered. The video online was easy to follow and this repair took less than 30 minutes from opening the parts shipping package to completion. As per the video, the task required a socket set to remove the refrigerator dooar and snips to cut the old seal.
