Rust around the bleach reservoir

Both hinges were replaced as well as the top of the washer. Plenty of videos for the hinges, but I found none for the top. Most information concerning the top was to just call a professional. It took about 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs to replace. I took my time and took plenty of photos for the connections. I also took extra time to clean the reservoirs and lines. It's not difficult just take your time. It also helps to have a helper to hold the top in place to reconnect everything.

Lid hinge broke on washing machine lid would slam closed

Replaced the left side hinge that was found to be broken.

Top lid would not close properly and when there was a heavy load the spin cycle left too much water in the clothes

Replaced one of the lid hinges that wore out and was not tracking properly. Replaced the hub which was worn and probably spun when loaded, No problem. Biggest issue was gettng the top of the washer to open. Replacing the parts was straight forward. No issues.

The washer lid would not stay up.

Replaced both hinges, took about an hour and a half. Now it works perfectly.
