Whirlpool WP4455523 Oven Door Hinge OEM Part

So after receiving my 2 door hinges, 2 days before est. delivery . All I had to do is take the oven door off, and then remove 4 screws to take the door apart, 4more screws to remove old hinges, replace w/new reassemble and put door back on oven, all in about 40 min. works like new again, Thanks for everything.

The longest part of the repair was figuring out where the door closer pins went and what their purpose was. Once I looked more closely at the replacement part tho, it was obvious. After sliding them in place the oven door did indeed just lift off when it was almost closed. Also the hinges are in the door. At first it was hard to tell if they were in the main part of the oven or the door. You only need to remove the door for this repair.

Fast fix once you done one, but these are the weakest part of most ovens. So you will get practice.

Done and more. As a DIY guy you you always suspect a challenge on any project. Although the Oven Manual noted a hole in the hinges to pull out the doors, on the door itself there was NO Hold. Another customer had the same problem. One of your experts in the customer notes gave the work-a-around. While I had the doors disassembled, I cleaned all 3 glass pieces per door. Wife was WOWed that she can see clearly through the doors.

Replaced hinges on the lower oven. Replace outer glass in the top door.
