Edward P Madison , WI March 15, 2014 Appliance: Whirlpool Free Standing Electric Range GR563LXSS1 The electric range original handle was all scratched and chipped (a fake stainless steel type coating) We ordered a replacement part in black, since our our range was both black and stainless steel. It was a two person job since the handle was attached to another piece of the door and once removed you had to hold the rest of the oven door together or the glass would fall out. There are two screws to remove the handle assembly from the oven door and then two more screws to remove the handle from this grill part of the door.
