Timothy H Apple Valley , MN April 19, 2020 Appliance: Model MDTA50SAHB0 Dishwasher wasn't cleaning, water came in and would discharge It was a learning experience. First I turned off the power! I removed the lower kick plate, disconnected the drain hose and electrical connectors. Then removed the discharge pump and heat sensor then loosened the 4 hold down arms/clamps. Then I opened the door and pulled the base up from the inside. Now to remove and replace the Pump Motor. Then reverse the process. If I were to do again, I'd pull the dishwasher out and lay it on its back. Robert B Galveston , TX March 14, 2016 Appliance: Model KDTE704DSS0 Leaking from the motor area The seal for the diverter motor shaft started leaking. The only way to replace the seal is to replace the entire sump, which means you have to remove all the stuff connected to it, including the main pump. The main pump is connected to the sump via a rubber hose with one time use clamps. These parts worked well. Larry F Palm , PA December 02, 2024 Appliance: Whirlpool Undercounter Dishwasher WDF730PAYB3 Leaking water from underneath so fast it was like the water supply hose broke i used it late one night with no problem the mid afternoon i ran it again to clean from baking I am 75 years old. I had to pull dishwasher out from counter, as large style tub is so close to floor. After removing the lower cover, could see water pouring out but not from where. I flipped dishwasher on front and saw that motor to sump hose was chewed through. (we have moles that come inside). Got on-line, looked up diagrams, found parts needed plus new heater. Parts were delivered next day, replaced parts gotten same night as delivered. I tested dishwasher while not under counter. no leaks. put back in and used next day. Read More...
