Whirlpool 61004643 Housing, Control OEM Part

I discovered that the rear portion of the control housing, the condensate collector which diverts the water through the back panel into the drain line, had broken. To remove the housing there is one screw centered towards the front which must be removed, then a screw at each end of the control face which only need to be loosened. Pull the entire assembly forward and down, then disconnect the electrical connector. It will be a puzzle figuring out the order of transferring the control components from the old housing to the new one. Just take it slow, take photos if you can, make a list of the order, and be careful not to break any of the plastic pieces. The gears and belt have indexing teeth. Total job took me about an hour. The refrigerator works great now.
