Jay J Parkville , MO August 11, 2026 Appliance: Whirlpool Side-By-Side Refrigerator WRS325SDHB08 Broken and leaky water filter housing and replaced broken meat drawer frame Replaced the lower left water filter housing in a Whirlpool french door refridgerator and replaced broken meat door frame. On the water filter, I watched the video from Appliance Parts Pros. The video showed the process perfectly but my DIY projects are never that easy. Getting the 2 water tubes/hoses off was not easy. No room to get any leverage to disconnect, and they are in there TIGHT. A lot more water in the tubes than I thought even though I had both house and refridgerator water shut off. Also, a lot of sharp metal in that tight space. Needless to say, water and blood everywhere, LOL. Getting the tubes/hoses reconnected to the new filter housing was no cakewalk either.
