Whirlpool WPW10190961 Icemaker OEM Part

Ordered water inlet valve, watched repair video and installed it very quickly. Totally solved problem. Defrosted freezer and working great now.

I went on youtube and searched out all the possibilities of why it wasn't making ice. That search was came down to the icemaker. I ordered a icemaker from you and had it fixed in about 10 minutes.Having that unit as a slide in and a plug-in makes it awfully easy to fix it. Everything is working fine.

I searched You Tube for videos on icemaker troubleshooting/repair for a Whirlpool refrigerator until I found a couple that matched my refrigerator. From the You Tube videos I learned how to remove the icemaker and locate the model number. I then ordered an icemaker replacement from Appliance Parts Pros.com on a Saturday which was delivered to my doorstep on Tuesday evening. I installed the new icemaker and was pleased to to find new ice in the bin later that evening. Total time was probably about 2 hours including the research on You Tube, icemaker removal, on-line ordering, and installation.

First I tried the water inlet module which did not fix the problem. When that didn't fix it, I called your 800 number and spoke to Alfonzo. After explaining the problem, he said it was the ice maker. I bought the ice maker, put it in and it was making ice within one hour. Very easy to replace. Don't pay someone to do it. Watch the Appliance parts pros videos on You Tube and do it yourself.

Put a new unit in.
