Description

This is a spark igniter for a gas range surface burner. It creates the spark needed to ignite the gas when the burner knob is turned. Replace this part if the burner clicks but won't light, doesn't click at all, or if you smell gas without ignition when attempting to use the stovetop.

I ordered a new one and put it in. It was easy to do. Now I no longer have to use a match to light it. It lights at a click of a switch.

Striker failed

I went on line with my model # of stove. Found the part very easy. Placed order and received part in about 3 days. This was so easy to replace this striker. Just remove knob, remove 2 screws and wire to striker. Replace new striker, put the 2 screws back in and hooked the new wire up to striker. It works great. Very good service all around. I will use again for sure. Thanks!

The igniter was broken.

I pulled of the knob, took two screws out and installed the new igniter and replaced the new igniter wire and was done in less than 5 minutes very easy repair.
