Description

This spark ignitor ground assembly creates the spark and grounded path needed to light a gas burner. Replacing a worn electrode restores consistent ignition and helps reduce continuous clicking or burners that fail to ignite.

• Generates a high-voltage spark at the electrode tip to ignite the gas at the burner
• Integral ground bracket completes the circuit and sets the proper spark gap near the flame source
• Common symptoms: no spark at one position, intermittent ignition, continuous clicking, or cracked/corroded electrode or ground
• Intended for a single burner location; match mounting style and connector to your original

• Disconnect power and shut off gas; allow the appliance to cool before servicing
• Note the original electrode position and wire routing; remove the old assembly
• Install the new assembly with clean, tight metal-to-metal ground contact and correct gap to the burner per service instructions
• Reconnect the lead and test for a strong, consistent spark before reassembly
