Description
This genuine OEM replacement part is an igniter for gas ranges. The igniter is the part that creates the flame allowing for the burners to produce the fire that heats and cooks food. If the stove is no longer sparking a flame, the igniter might need to be replaced. Luckily, this is a very simple repair. To replace this part, start by unplugging the range. Once unplugged, move the range away from the wall to access the upper back panel. Remove the screws that secure the panel and proceed to locate the igniter. Detach the wire harness that connects it, and pull it out of its position. Once removed, reattach the wire harness and put it back in its place.
