Description

This surface burner igniter creates the arc that lights gas at the cooktop/range burner. Replace a cracked or worn electrode to restore fast, reliable ignition and reduce repeated clicking when trying to light a burner.

• Generates a high-voltage spark at the surface burner to ignite gas
• Typical symptoms: no spark, intermittent/weak spark, burner lights only with a match, or constant clicking
• Mounts near the burner head; works with the spark module and switch harness
• Inspect for a cracked ceramic insulator, damaged tip, or loose lead
