This surface burner igniter is the spark electrode that lights the flame on your gas cooktop or range. Replacing a worn electrode restores reliable ignition at the affected burner for fast, consistent lighting.

• Disconnect power and shut off gas supply; allow appliance to cool
• Remove burner cap and head to access the electrode; note wire routing and mounting
• Transfer any bracket/clip from the original part if required and set proper gap/position near the burner port
• Restore power and gas, then test ignition at the repaired burner
