Description

This surface burner igniter creates the spark that lights the gas at your cooktop burner. Replacing a worn electrode helps restore quick, reliable ignition when you turn the knob to Lite. What it does:

• Directs high voltage from the spark module to the burner to ignite gas
• Maintains the proper spark gap and insulated path at the burner head
• Typical symptoms: burner won't light, clicking without ignition, intermittent or weak spark, lights only with a match

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off the gas supply before servicing
• Allow the surface to cool; handle the ceramic insulator carefully to avoid cracking
