William H Ranger , GA May 14, 2016 Appliance: Maytag Electric Cooktop MEC5430BDW15 Electric cooktop dual burner worked only on hi whether set for lo or hi My cooktop has an access panel, which permitted me to easily replace the dual switch. Matthew L Bella Vista , AR April 10, 2017 The front right dual burner switch kept sparking and shorting the cooktop I found the switch that I needed on appliancepartspros.com. I ordered it at around 1700, or 5 pm. I checked the mail the very next morning, and it was in the mailbox. Never in my life have I ever received anything that I ordered online the next day. I got a 1/4" nut driver and took four screws out of the switch cover. I then took two screws from the top of the switch, disconnected the wires, and took the burnt switch out. I had the switch installed and the cooktop back together before my wife got up, mega brownie points. Excellent service and delivery faster than Jimmy John's! Haha. Read More...
