Whirlpool WP22001186 Injector (Lower) OEM Part

An easy fix for the most part. I had no idea what I was doing, but glad I bought both upper and lower injectors. Not sure why these are separate parts? Cheap plastic. I did not get the hose clamp because I didn't think I would need it. You probably do, so go ahead and just order it or grab one if you have one laying around. Mine is hooked up without it for now which I'm sure I will regret later but I needed to get our washer running immediately due to a bed bug situation in our house.

Simple. Remove top back panel. (4 screws) Remove old injector. (1 nut screw.) Rotate to remove. (Other side is a tab in a slot.) Unsnap the upper injector. Snap upper injector on to new lower injector. Replace in reverse order. Run washer, look for leaks.

The roper I watched a video on you tube about the most common problems & how to take it apart. I took it apart & sure enough it was the direct drive washer motor coupling that was broke. The May tag I figured out on my own, took it apart & temporarily fixed the lower water injector piece & noticed the indicator light was broke as well. I looked on line & found appliancepartspro.com ck'd out their sight, which was super easy found the parts needed. The price couldn't be beat & they arrived in 2-3 days. Had the roper washer fixed in about 30 mins. ran a cycle & worked like a new washer. The maytag I will go over & replace the temporary fix which will take about 30 minutes also.I saved about 40.00 to 45.00 dollars on price compared to local appliance parts stores & having to drive 50-60 miles to get them.
