Description
This spline insert is the small splined bushing that fits onto a drive shaft to transfer rotational force between the motor/shaft and the driven part. It restores a secure, slip-free connection for proper appliance operation. What it does:
- Provides a keyed, splined interface between the drive shaft and the driven component to transfer torque
- Prevents slip or loss of drive that can cause the drum/agitator to stop turning
- Worn or damaged splines can cause grinding, slipping, or intermittent movement
