Description

This foam pad installs between the inner and outer door panels of a dishwasher to dampen sound and help shield the outer panel from heat and moisture, keeping operation quieter and the door better protected. What it does:

• Lines the inside of the outer door panel to reduce operating noise and vibration
• Acts as a thermal and moisture barrier for the outer door panel
• Helps maintain proper door performance when the original insulation is worn or missing
• Replace if torn, degraded, or waterlogged, or if noise/condensation around the door has increased

What's included:

• 1 door insulation pad

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off water to the dishwasher before servicing
• Support the door; remove perimeter screws to separate the inner and outer door panels
• Note the pad's orientation; seat the new insulation evenly without pinching wires or harnesses
• Reassemble panels and fasteners; verify smooth door/latch operation
