Mark R Geneva , IL September 19, 2020 Appliance: Whirlpool Microwave Hood Combo WMH53520CS7 Door interlocks not working. Purchased new ones top and bottom. Parts arrived several days ahead of schedule (thank you) .Found a repair video on YouTube and installed the new parts accordingly. A few tips; since you have to remove the control panel from the microwave take a photo of the connections prior to disconnecting them, this is especially helpful on the relays on the interlocks as the connection type is the same. Also note the cam on the new parts was locked back for easier install, but don’t forget to move it into position so the door latches. Removed 10 screws. Installed the new switch. Up and working in 20 minutes. The best part is getting the parts. The brand name of the appliance would not sell me the parts but AppliancePartsPros.com would. Thank you! A new microwave would have ran $700 now. Very easy repair.
