Description

The Inverter Box is an OEM component specifically designed for Whirlpool French door refrigerators. Located inside the refrigerator compartment top behind removable panels, the inverter box houses electronic components that control the compressor motor and refrigeration systems.

Causes of a bad inverter box include failure of internal circuit boards over several years of regulating refrigeration cycles or damage from liquid spills inside the unit.
