Carol O Hot Springs , AR July 02, 2017 Appliance: Model MAYTAG REFRIGERATOR Refrigerator not cooling and making clicking noise overload relay switch YouTube video!! With my description of the issue I found a great How To video which explained remove the old overload switch and shake it. If the part rattles its bad. I ordered a new overload relay switch for the compressor. AppliancePartsPros had the part to me the next day!! With the great directions, included, I was able to fix the problem!! The part was different because the manufacturer changed it over the years but it was still easy!!! Being a woman it's difficult to get a repairman that won't try to rip me off!!! So glad I was able to correct this problem and hopefully get a few more years out of this old refrigerator. 50.00 plus shipping was sure better than the cost of a new refrigerator. Read More...
