Martin B Cincinnati , OH January 17, 2018 Appliance: Maytag Top Loading Washer A612S Shaft seal leaked and rust expanded the thrust surface boss and broke allowing the shaft to slip to far into yoke jamming the transmission Removed shaft with slide hammer and inspected the yoke and gearing replaced the shaft and seals with the shaft kit and replaced the tub bearing. 32 years and still running strong Maytag yeah!!!! Doubt the newer ones will run as long thanks for having the parts.
