Tommy B Oak Ridge , TN April 29, 2021 Appliance: Whirlpool 30`` Electric Built-In Cooktop WCC31430AB00 Indicator light not working and knob was missing its steel collar Turn off the electricity at the circuit breaker. Remove all four burner coils and pans. Remove four phillips screws, one in each of the burner openings. Lift top of unit then unplug two electric leads from old indicator light and remove the light fitting. Attach wire leads to new indicator light and slide it onto the bottom of the red lens. Lower top and reattach four screws and replace burner pans and coils. The knob is backordered so it has yet to be replaced by simply pulling up on it. Read More...
