Kimmel M Pittsboro , NC July 23, 2016 Appliance: Model KCO10050B Part broke on the stud and needed to be replaced I pulled off the broken knob and put on the new one. The new one didn't fit snuggly so we used a very small (1/8 inch wide and about 2 cm long) thin piece of aluminum sheeting to wrap around the stud like a sleeve and then placed the new knob on. We needed something heat resistant, obviously so that's why we chose the aluminum sheeting. I appreciate that you all have a part that fits an older model that Kitchen Aid no longer supports. Thank you. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Pliers
