I looked at getting a new unit, but thought I might try to search for replacement knobs online. I knew it would be difficult because my AC unit is so old. I looked through half a dozen web sites and was about to give up when I found AppliancePartsPros.com. I was able to identify an exact match for my knobs, and now my unit is running again! One thing I especially loved is that the photos of the products are taken on a grid that shows the scale precisely. That really helped, as I knew the size of my old knob. I had been turning it on with a pair of needle-nose pliers. I looked on line and saw that the original part was no made when I came across AppliancePartsPros.Com website.
