Description

This is a replacement oven control board from Whirlpool. The control board is the heart of the oven and provides the means for users to control the appliance. It includes the digital readout that tells the time and temperature, as well as buttons for controlling the light, baking modes, temperature adjustments, and start/stop functionality. The oven control board is susceptible to both physical wear and tear in the form of contact wear from users pressing the buttons, and electrical wear and tear. Eventually, the button contacts will wear out, and it is possible that heat, spills, or simple use over time will damage soldered components and cause a need for replacement. To replace the oven control board, first unplug the oven. Next, remove the cowling to reveal the board housing and mounting screw locations. Remove the two mounting screws, unplug the wires, and remove the old board.This OEM part is designed to fit Whirlpool ovens. It is sold individually.
