Zak V Carmel , CA February 28, 2015 Appliance: Amana Top Loading Washer DE6080 Rattling noise when running dryer I took the dryer apart and found that the fan which pulls the air from the inside of the dryer out the exhaust port, had stripped its axel socket. When the dryer wasn't gaged, the fan was spinning and rattling around the shaft banging against the housing. A short bit of Google searching for parts yielded, among others, this website. After deciding it was legitimate I ordered the needed parts from appliancepartspros.com with 2 day shipping. Everything arrived as expected two days later, I installed the new parts to replace the broken ones, reassembled the dryer and now I have a perfectly functional machine.
