Description

This 240V lid lock is used on select top-load washers. It secures the lid during operation and relays a closed/locked signal to the control, restoring safe spin performance and preventing interruptions when the original latch fails.

• Locks the lid during spin/high-speed phases to prevent opening
• Sends lid-closed/locked status to the control so cycles can start and continue
• Typical symptoms: lid won't lock or unlock, washer won't start or spin, lid lock light blinks, cycle won't advance or stops mid-cycle
• May present intermittent clicking from the lock or require pressing down on the lid to start

• Disconnect power before servicing
