Replaced both lights

Ordered the freezer door switch and the light. Replaced the freezer door switch and the light and everything is back to normal. Replaced both in less than 15 min with no problems.

Preyed open the light fixture with screwdriver, disconnected light and reconnected with new LED fixture.

Contacted appliance parts pros for help in trouble shooting the issue. Unplugged power as told, Removed both lights, used multi meter to check for any open circuit in either light. Appliance parts pros even directed me to a number of videos to see how to check properly. Both lights had open line in light circuit board. I ordered lights, came within a few days put back in place. Always remember to unplug before removing lights. Replacing both LEDS took about 15 minutes following appliance parts pros instruction video. Didn’t tell wife I had completed without having to call an appliance repairman I didn’t know. She was gone shopping on the day they arrived and was totally amazed when she opened the fridge door. Still get a happy smile after nearly 47 years putting up with me. LOL

I typed in a search inquiry on my PC using the make and model number of my frig. It took me to the Appliance Parts Pros website. I found information explaining what caused the outage. I looked at a YouTube video explaining how to replace the part that wasn’t working. I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros and it arrived in a few days and following the instructions in the video I replaced the part in less than 10 minutes and it worked great!
