Description

This magnetron generates the microwave energy that heats food in your microwave oven. Replacing a failed magnetron restores cooking power so the oven can heat and cook food properly. What it does:

• Converts high-voltage power into microwave energy for heating
• Restores normal cooking when the oven no longer heats or heats weakly
• Commonly linked to loud humming, arcing, burning smells, or no-heat symptoms
• Requires correct alignment and secure mounting to prevent arcing
