Luckily found the Repair Forum here which was no easy feat, and saw someone from Orange county California suggest the problem was a shorted out Touch Pad membrane assembly. see: http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/11518-f1-error-code.html and http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/277035-amana-artsc8651ss.html Could have bought this part $5-10 cheaper elsewhere but figured only right to do was to get it here. Came in and replaced in 15-20 minutes and solved the issue for a lot less than a new. ERC.
