Description
A small replacement door switch that tells the appliance when the door is closed so cycles can start—restores proper door-sensing to resolve no-start, intermittent operation, or control lockout issues related to a faulty door switch. What it does:
- Detects door open/closed state and completes the control circuit when the door is shut.
- Prevents the appliance from starting or running when the door is open.
- Commonly replaces a worn or broken switch that causes no-starts, stops mid-cycle, or intermittent operation.
- Works as the door-sensing safety/switching component in the door latch/closure assembly.
