Description
This electronic freezer control module manages the freezer's temperature and defrost cycles so the compartment runs on schedule and helps protect stored food. It replaces a failed or intermittent control board to restore normal freezer operation. What it does:
- Regulates freezer temperature by running compressor and fans per thermostat/temperature sensor inputs
- Controls automatic defrost cycles and related timing functions
- Can correct intermittent cooling or defrost issues caused by a faulty control board
