Description

This ice maker mold and heater assembly forms the cube cavities and briefly warms the mold during harvest so ice releases cleanly. Replace a corroded, leaking, or non-heating mold to restore reliable ice production and ejection. What it does:

• Contains and shapes water into ice cubes during the freeze cycle
• Integrated heater warms the mold during harvest so cubes release to the ejector
• Failure can cause cubes to stick in the mold, stalled harvests, or no ice production
• Pitting or corrosion of the mold can lead to leaks and poor cube release

• One ice maker mold with attached heater assembly

Install notes:

• Disconnect power before servicing; turn off the ice maker or water supply to prevent fill during service
• Remove the ice maker from the freezer to access the internal mold assembly; support wiring and harnesses
• Transfer any reusable components and fasteners from the original unit as directed by your service information
• After reassembly, restore power and allow a full cycle to verify proper fill, release, and ejection
