James L Belleville , IL June 21, 2016 Appliance: Kenmore Washer 11021252110 Agitator wouldn't spind during wash cycle Replaced the motor. Pretty easy. Disconnected electric cord water hoses, and drain hose. Laid the washer on its back after making sure it was cushioned. A fair mount of water came out the drain hose (maybe plug it). Two bolts (I think 7/16) removed the plastic belt cover. Removed the drive belt. Two bolts (I think 9/16) removed the motor. Reversed steps. Found out my grand daughter tried to wash a very large comforter. This is not a large machine and should not be overloaded. I suspect she burned out the motor.
