Description
This auger motor drives the ice-dispensing auger inside the freezer door to move ice from the bin to the dispenser chute, restoring normal ice dispensing when the auger won't turn. Fits compatible Whirlpool freezer ice dispensers. What it does:
- Turns the auger shaft to push ice through the dispenser chute.
- Replaces a failed or seized dispenser motor that causes no ice to dispense.
- Stops abnormal noises or grinding from the dispenser when motor gears are worn.
- Helps restore normal dispense speed and responsiveness when the motor is intermittent.
